Thanks for your reply Ken but wouldn't normal bacofoil cutting into squares exist ok?

Jim Green, I'm non familiar with your "bacofoil", I'one thousand presuming it'south similar a normal kitchen foil??
I'k as well not familiar with the sticky ones the Ken refers to, Still, in my experience with similar items to both, this is what I've establish.
Household foil tends to break very easy when the furniture is fifty-fifty slightly moved, such as putting foil nether another leg, this suspension may be sufficient to permit wet from the carpet into the leg & transfer dye back into the rug.
On the other paw, the gluey tabs on a gyre, are much more hardy, take never cleaved for me, and, as Ken also said, tin can act equally a mini slider if need be.
I use large sliders under my furniture, when finished, I either place foam blocks under each leg, OR the plastic gluey tabs which volition stick to the legs, which would be similar to World of Clean's product.
As I remove each slider, I place the protector between the leg & the carpeting so there is no further damage.
Hope this helps.

I once cleaned an off-white nylon carpet where a previous cleaner (some years previously ) had used aluminium foil in place of proper tabs.
Under the square feet of the three sofas the foil was still in place and had made gray marks which were resistant to removal.
I am pretty sure that the marker did not result from simple contact merely from the rubbing resultant from usage motion.
So if you use baking foil ensure that the customer knows that it should exist removed after a few days*.
* Because the foil lacks the absorbent layer constitute on the proper tabs, drying beneath will be slower.

Are the Prochem WF3401 tabs any expert as they seem the cheapest (around £8 per 1000) only have been sold for many years?

Bacofoil is fine. Fold it so it'south thick enough and information technology will not rip or scissure. Accept a chip of time with the folding and it looks fine

I'm struggling to see what savings tin be made past using kitchen foil!! Become the proper pads and expect professional. Yous also don't want to be flaffing around cutting out little squares of foil.

They were the just type of tabs bachelor for many years and I was delighted.
Just more went through the washing car, nonetheless in my work trousers and were ruined, increasing the cost significantly. Don't think "that would never happen to me" it volition, again and again.
Then when alternatives came out, I tried them and all of the alternative options were superior and without the laundry impairment event.
When you look at the cost per tab, fifty-fifty the about expensive ones are toll effective and always cheaper than a call up and peradventure incommunicable to remove stain.
Condom and happy tabbing

Plastic tabs all the way here although the thicker foil pads can be better for furniture on wheels every bit it gives more than protection confronting tearing of carpets if moved and indents when in other positions, my roll of plastic ones are still living happily in my purse intact while my stacks of foil pads take mainly got mangled earlier they were used so you practice need to shop them properly. Some foils will still accept small-scale amounts of fe in them and can oxidise with moisture leaving a gray colour so best non to use whatsoever domestic bakofoil type brands unless sure, non sure about carpet pads.
